Getting Started with RedditPro Suite: From Install to First Lead

What you need before starting

RedditPro Suite is a Chrome extension that opens as a full-tab dashboard. Before you install, make sure you have three things ready:

Google Chrome (desktop) — the suite uses MV3 features like alarms and service workers, so Chrome or any Chromium browser (Edge, Brave) works.
Your license key — delivered by email right after checkout. It looks like 1234-abcd-5678.
A logged-in Reddit session — log into reddit.com in the same browser profile where you install the extension.

Step 1 — Install the extension

After purchase you receive a download link for the extension zip. Unzip it anywhere, then:

Open chrome://extensions/ in your browser.
Toggle Developer mode on (top-right corner).
Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
Pin the RedditPro icon to your toolbar — you'll use it every day.

Tip: keep the folder where it is. Chrome loads the unpacked extension from that path — moving or deleting it breaks the installation until you re-load it.

Step 2 — Activate your license

Click the extension icon. The activation screen appears the first time. Paste your license key and hit Verify License. The key is checked against the license server and then stored locally — after that, the suite opens straight into the dashboard.

Traveling or offline? No problem. Once your key has verified successfully, RedditPro keeps working for up to 7 days without internet before asking you to re-verify.

Step 3 — Connect your Reddit account

On first launch, RedditPro auto-detects the Reddit session from your logged-inreddit.com cookie. Nothing to type — the top bar turns green with your username and total karma within a few seconds.

If your session ever expires (Reddit rotates cookies sometimes), the suite tells you and one click re-detects it. Your Reddit password never touches the extension.

Step 4 — Configure AI (optional but recommended)

Half the power of the suite lives in its AI features: post generation, reply drafting, and lead suggestions. To switch them on, go to Settings and connect either:

OpenRouter (recommended) — one account, hundreds of models, pay-as-you-go from a few cents. Model suggestion: openai/gpt-4o-mini.
OpenAI — your existing platform.openai.com key works as-is.

Use the Test AI Connection button to confirm everything is wired up. Every AI reply generated inside the suite passes through a built-in humanizer, so drafts sound like a real Redditor — not like a chatbot.

Step 5 — Run your first lead search

Open Lead Miner, type the problem your product solves — not your product name. A social-media scheduler should search for "manually posting to every platform takes forever", not "social media scheduler". Pick your sort (New works best for speed), set a time window, and hit search.

Posts are scored and Opportunity badges mark threads with high engagement and open questions — those are your buyers. Click Get Suggestions on any card and the AI proposes three concrete reply angles.

First-day plan: search 3 keywords, reply to 2 opportunity posts, and schedule 1 value post for tomorrow. That's it — the daily stealth limit (3 posts / 15 comments) exists precisely so you never overdo it on day one.

Where everything lives

A quick map of the sidebar so you know where to click:

Dashboard — karma growth, account health, promo-ratio, activity counters.
Search — deep subreddit search with member/engagement filters.
Posts — composer, AI generator, drafts, scheduling, CSV bulk import.
Comments — your inbox, one-click replies, auto-reply rules.
Lead Miner — daily opportunity scans and the idea generator.
Mention Finder — Reddit mentions of every page on your website.
Deal Finder — live feed of deal-hunting threads.
Reply Tracker — follows up on comments you posted via the suite.

That's the whole setup. Ten minutes, and your Reddit pipeline is running.
